Borderline Theatre
Borderline Theatre Company is one of Scotland's longest established touring theatre companies, having been started in 1974. Borderline has a strong reputation for providing audiences all over Scotland with 'entertainment with substance' - take for example the recent successes of Passing Places by Stephen Greenhorn, Good Things by Liz Lochhead and Dead Funny by Terry Johnson.
Based in Ayr, Borderline's Lifelong Learning Programme has been running since 1988. Borderline runs over 1400 drama-based workshops per year in schools, the local community and throughout Scotland when we link workshops to our touring productions.

Odeon Cinema is located in central Ayr and shows all the latest movies in a comfortable theatre with modern facilities. The Odeon Cinema Ayr is located in Burns Statue Square, opposite the train station at the top of the High Street, in the middle of the one-way system next to Blockbuster and Burns House.
